1. Quadratic Equations
Roots: x = [−b ± √(b² − 4ac)] / 2a
Discriminant: D = b² − 4ac
Sum of roots = −b/a
Product of roots = c/a
Equation with roots α, β: x² − (α + β)x + αβ = 0
2. Sequence & Series
Sum of n terms of AP: Sₙ = n/2 [2a + (n − 1)d]
GP nth term: aₙ = arⁿ⁻¹
Sum of n terms of GP: Sₙ = a(rⁿ − 1)/(r − 1), r ≠ 1
Infinite GP sum: S∞ = a/(1 − r), |r| < 1
3. Trigonometric Ratios & Identities
1 + tan²x = sec²x
1 + cot²x = cosec²x
sin(A ± B) = sinA cosB ± cosA sinB
cos(A ± B) = cosA cosB ∓ sinA sinB
tan(A ± B) = (tanA ± tanB)/(1 ∓ tanA tanB)
4. Straight Lines
Two-point form: y − y₁ = [(y₂ − y₁)/(x₂ − x₁)](x − x₁)
Point-slope form: y − y₁ = m(x − x₁)
Distance of point (x₁, y₁) from line ax + by + c = 0 is |ax₁ + by₁ + c| / √(a² + b²)
5. Limits
lim (x→0) tanx/x = 1
lim (x→0) (1 − cosx)/x² = 1/2
lim (x→∞) (1 + 1/x)^x = e
